Divas Bikers Academy offers practical motorbike and scooter training for complete beginners, developing riders and those preparing to ride confidently on public roads. Women and men of different ages are welcome, with patient guidance, step-by-step instruction and safety-focused lessons designed to help every rider progress at a comfortable pace.
Beginner Course
Learn to Ride with Step-by-Step Support
Your instructor will guide you step by step and remain close by during the early stages of training so that you feel safe and supported. You
will be introduced to the motorbike, riding safety rules and motorbike etiquette as your confidence begins to grow.
What You Will Learn
- An introduction to the motorbike and its controls
- Basic balance and motorbike handling
- Essential riding safety rules
- Motorbike etiquette and responsible riding habits
- Confidence through guided practical training
Course includes: 5 hours of practical motorbike riding lessons.
Fully Loaded Course
From Beginner Skills to Traffic-Ready Riding
Training takes place on the academy grounds and on public roads. Riders may train on their own motorbike or an academy bike, depending on their competency and the instructor’s guidance.
Course Details
- Develop balance, coordination, scooter control and confidence.
- Prepare for the motorcycle learner's license test.
- Provide structured Beginner Scooter Rider Training and supervised practice.
- Assess readiness to progress to on-road training.
- Develop practical road-riding skills, traffic awareness and safe decision-making.
- Employment and entrepreneurship programme.
Course includes: 30 hours of practical training. A helmet is provided for the sessions.
Build Confidence – Beginner / Intermediate Course
Build Stronger Control and Riding Confidence
This course is designed for riders who want to commit more time to developing their skills from the outset. The extended training helps riders progress from beginner level towards greater confidence and readiness for the road.
You will learn to ride slowly and accurately, improve your control and develop safer riding habits. Training begins on the academy grounds and may progress onto public roads once you and your instructor are confident in the progress you have made.
What the Course Covers
- Safer riding habits and road awareness
- Practical training on controlled academy grounds
- Progression towards public-road riding
- Extended beginner and intermediate training
- Slow-speed control and riding accuracy
Please note: The course includes 10 hours of training. Learners should bring their own helmet or contact the academy for assistance.
Real World Riding – Road Skills Course
Develop Confidence for Real-World Riding
If you feel nervous about riding alone on public roads, the Road Skills Course is designed to help you strengthen your confidence in a supportive and practical environment.
One of our instructors will arrange to meet you at your residence, set up a communication headset and ride alongside you while guiding you through confidence-building techniques during each session.
What the Course Covers
- One-on-one guidance on public roads
- Communication-headset support
- Confidence-building riding techniques
- Practical experience in real road conditions
- Instructor guidance while riding alongside you
Course arrangement: Sessions can begin from your residence. A minimum of 5 hours is recommended.

Training Locations
- Training begins on controlled academy grounds.
- Public-road training is introduced when the rider and instructor are confident in the rider’s progress.
- Real World Riding Course sessions may begin from the rider’s residence.
- The academy initially operates in Randburg and surrounding areas.
Motorbikes and Safety Gear
- Training may take place on the rider’s motorbike or an academy bike, depending on the course and competency.
- A helmet is provided for the Fully Loaded Course.
- Build Confidence Course riders should bring their own helmet or contact the academy for assistance.
- Course progression depends on the rider’s confidence, ability and instructor guidance.
